Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring as they transition from acute or critical care settings
• Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients, including those in a transplant care environment
• Administer treatments and medications while continuously evaluating patient conditions and responses
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as clinically indicated

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Demonstrated experience in a PCU, progressive care, intermediate care, or stepdown setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a transplant or specialty PCU environment
• Experience managing post-surgical or high-acuity patient populations
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary care coordination in a complex hospital setting
